Medieval Grave

This is a gracious village, with many pretty houses whose air of distinction makes us think of Port Wine and olive oil profits /revenue. The Mother Church, whose entrance is done through the Seixo Road, is a modern temple. It was inaugurated in 1984.

Vineyards and Olive Groves

For its construction, people made use of the baroque altar piece and the painted big boxes of the chancel of the old church, the two altar pieces and the carving of the markets cross arch. The patron of the village is Senhora de Conduzende.

Pombal´s Mark

To prove it are the vestiges of a medieval necropolis that, exactly in the centre of Adorigo, which include some boxes and gravestones, used at that time to bury the dead.

S Martinho´ chapel

Adorigo still counts on one of the most important Port wine estates in the concelho: Quinta de St. Louis. With its white housing, extended close over the mouth of the Tedo River.
