Pereiro is situated on the western extremity of the village, near St. João da Pesqueira. Throughout a single street it stretches towards the mount between the Church and the cemetery. The Church was recently renovated. It is protected by Nossa Senhora Auxiliadora whose pilgrimage is celebrated in February.
