Igreja Matriz

The village extends over half slopes, however its graceful profile makes a difference for who goes by the Tedo river and has a look from the municipality of Armamar in the late afternoon. The pretty Mother Church in the centre in front of the Pillory is a visit worthy. The Senhora da Saúde chapel is placed on one of the extremities.

The Tedo River is 2 kilometres away from the village. We have to cross a stone bridge with two spans, constructed in the 18th century. Following this road we come to the Concelho of Armamar, close to Santo Adrião, where it is possible to go down to the mouth of the Tedo River.

In this parish, we can still find several roman farmhouses, such as the Primary School and the Ribeira das Mestras.
