Enjoying the Valley Scenario and its Vineyards

We are in the oldest demarcated area of the world. The “Alto Douro Vinhateiro”, where the famous Port Wine is produced.
We hope to marvel you with our landscape and culture, in a perfectly intermingled way,  as recently recognized by the UNESCO. With the help of archeologists, historians, tourism professionals, genealogists and researchers, the Tabuaço City Council has managed to gather the historical values, the ways of our people’s life, animals and plants in the wilderness, of its natural and humanized landscapes.
We developed a Cultural Tourism Project, created with environmental and conscious responsibility, in order to warrant the good use of tracks and visiting places, in respect to the natural areas of the Historical Villages of  the Concelho de Tabuaço.
